Let me just say, I love podcast interviews! There is just something about the intimate flow of a podcast that always leaves me inspired even after the interview is ended. I’m excited to share my latest interview with you on Fashion Alumni with Founder & Host, Dr. Melissa Manuel.
This was a very unique podcast interview for me for a number of reasons. First, the name of the platform, Fashion Alumni, speaks to me personally because I am just that having achieved my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Fashion & Retail Management. Secondly, the topic of “networking” is something I’ve never spoken on in a podcast, radio, or TV interview. I’ve been asked in personal one-on-one sessions and during panel discussions. However, this interview afforded me the opportunity to speak from a more reflective perspective.
I believe that whether you are a fashion student, professional, enthusiast or not, the principles that I shared from my experience will be of use to you in growing your network and net worth! I am very humbled to be thought of as an influencer in this industry. One of the things I often say is that if you “become a person of value, influence will then follow.” To know that anyone values what I have offer to any platform is nothing I ever take lightly.
