Being a business professional is very eventful. Not only are there events within your career but you’re often invited to attend happenings for social or networking causes. Personally, one thing I can always count on is CAMERAS! Some would say it’s because I am “in fashion.” (I always giggle at that phrase.) Nonetheless, I attend all types of events and there are always cameras; including but not limited to: Cannon’s, Nikon’s, Androids and iPhone’s.
However, do you ever find yourself asking, “where are these photos going?” I can’t possibly give credit to all the photographers whom I know whom have photographed me and I’ve received some sort of tag or notification when the photo has been posted/shared. Yet, there are just as many photos wandering around out there somewhere from events that have never surfaced. I wonder, what do people do with those photos? Of course, we always hear “check the Facebook page in the next few days.” Could it be that they’re delivered and the host doesn’t share them? Or, maybe I don’t photograph as well as I think and it would be wise not to damage the brand aesthetic?
I don’t know and honestly, it’s not that big of a deal. No offense here. Trust me, I’m good on photos. But, there are one or two that I’m looking for to show up!
I’m all for you shooting. I just may even pose! But after you shoot, share!
